PLANT MANAGER - CIRCULAR ALUMINIUM

Are you a dynamic people manager with a passion for driving operational excellence and sustainable innovation? E-MAX ALUMINIUM, one of Europe's top 3 producers of sustainable aluminium profiles, is seeking a talented Plant Manager for our facility in Landau in der Pfalz, Germany.

Your responsilbilities:

  • Production Management: Lead the planning, organization, andmanagement of all production activities, ensuring the achievement of production goals while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence through continuous improvement
  • Strategic Management: Develop and implement long-term plans for the factory, including investment planning in technology, equipment, and infrastructure to support strategic objectives
  • Personnel Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers, supervisors, and technical staff to optimize performance and manage personnel needs
  • Change Management: Inspire employees to embrace change and foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and resilience
  • Social Management and Union Relations: Act as a liaison between management and union leadership, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and negotiating collective agreements
  • Part of the Management Team: Collaborate with senior leaders and report directly to the CEO, providing updates, recommendations, and insights on factory operations

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 7 years of experience as a production manager/plant manager in the aluminium industry, preferably in an international environment. Knowledge of extrusion is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on results and continuous improvement
  • A qualified candidate who holds German citizenship and is fluent in both German and English
  • High standards for yourself and your team, with a drive for success
