From the start, Frank Philippaerts (°1965) has been actively involved in the development of FLY. Before his career change as a self employed consultant, trainer and coach, Frank took on various HRM roles at, among others, Ford, Philips and DSM. During the last 10 years of his career Frank has led and facilitated several major change, leadership and organisational development initiatives as an HR manager. As a coach and senior consultant he combines extensive management experience with a pragmatic and appreciative approach.
Frank graduated as a Master in Germanic Philology from KULeuven. Before he became an HR Manager, he earned his stripes as an experienced HR professional in recruitment & selection, labour relations, and learning & development. He has a postgraduate degree in HRM (EHSAL Management School, Brussels) and completed several other specialized courses. He trained as a professional coach with The Coaching Square. As a coach, trainer and senior consultant Frank works for SME’s, not for profit and governmental organisations, as well as for multinationals in different areas, such as chemistry, energy, construction, transport, food.
